BOBA JAZZ BAND plays traditional swing music in its purest form. The band leader is pianist Jan Boba, whose artistic accomplsiment goes back into the 60's, among others he was the leader of Jazz Band Ball Orchestra for many years. In 1986 president Ronald Reagan awarded Boba a diploma for promoting American culture. In 1990 he began a band that spanned two generations of musicians. This band advertised itself with his name, and so Boba Jazz Band came to be. In todays composition we have taken part in the most prestigious world festivals, playing together with the most important representatives of European and American jazz, including the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Rhythm Junkies is a group of mostly amateur-musicians from Vilnius, which are working their way through recognition on a number of very simple but cozy objectives: to maximize the interest in the abandoned swing music in Lithuania, refresh their minds and, of course, have fun fun fun!
Rhythm Junkies consists of eleven people of all kinds, who have firstly fallen in love with the Lindy Hop dance and only then gathered together to make a change in the music people dance to: they decided that it should not only be the speakers that the music comes out of, but that it should also be guitars, accordions, clarinets, violins, horns and other authentic instruments which make the hearts shiver and the feet stir.
They call themselves the Street Swing Ensemble and are at their best in the fresh air, but when the weather chills they do not fall asleep and rather gather in bars, cafes, and other shelters where, obtained at least a small corner for the instruments, make it loud and groovy! The souls and the hearts of all the Junkies are far in the roaring crying shouting and trampling 20 's 30's and 40's and, until the time machine is invented, they travel there with the help of music, rhythm and dance. See their Facebook fan page or their home page for more info about the band. |

Music has always been a part of Dr. Jazz' life. He played various instruments as a child, and from 2000 to 2005 he hosted a Ska and Reggae radio show as 'DJ SkaPa'. He got into jazz and swing music when he started swing dancing in 2004, deepening his interest when he started teaching lindy hop. -- He's the one who gets me fixed -- He started out as a local DJ in Freiburg, and now DJs dance events all over Europe, spreading the joy of a good rhythm from down in Portugal all the way up to Sweden and from Belgium to Ukraine. -- He's the man who makes me put on both my dancin' shoes -- Dr. Jazz brings a unique sound tailored for swing dancers: featuring a lot of original tunes, music that swings with the rhythm that inspired the creators of lindy hop back in the days -- the sound that made the dance what it is. -- Hello Central give me Doctor Jazz! --

In 2009 DJ Deeb was invited to be the official staff DJ “Herrang Dance Camp”. At HDC 2010 he kept his career being DJ Coordinator assistant and staff DJ.
